Been dining at the restaurant for years -- first time staying at the hotel. Will return. Very few guests were staying in the hotel and the restaurant ensured we had a great breakfast.

This privately owned Alpine-style design hotel is located in the center of Oberammergau, 2297 feet from the Passion Theater. Hotel Maximilian offers design rooms and a spa area. All rooms at Hotel Maximilian Oberammergau are bright and spacious, and feature a traditional Bavarian design. Every room includes free internet, a seating area and private bathroom. Guests can also relax outside in the beer garden. The Ammergauer Maxbräu is a traditional Bavarian-style lounge with wooden floors and ceilings.
