We would have avoided this hotel because of the name, but it was recommended to us by close friends. We were glad we stayed there. We brought our bikes to explore the beautiful Wörlitz Gardens. The hotel is centrally located and features a very good restaurant with a cozy beer-garden.

The location was ideal, just a couple minutes to the Wörlitzer Park, and near many other interesting cultural sites. The restaurant, including an outdoor area, had a good selection of typical local dishes, and the service was friendly and efficient. It was open continually from late morning to 8pm. My husband must eat gluten free and they were good with answering questions and checking on ingredients. Our room at the top was comfortable and had a nice sitting area. Breakfast was typical German style and had a nice variety of items. We appreciated the room out back where we could park our bikes; it was locked at night.

Location is idyllic, the food was fine and service in the restaurant good.
Well worth a visit. Take a guided boat trip and then tour the gardens. There is so much to see. A visit of at least two days is necessary to be able to view the grounds and some of the historic buildings.
