Super nice woman was working reception. The room was spacious and tidy. And the location could not be closer to the things that visitors are in town to see. Very good choice, I would say

1. The building is around the corner of the entrance to the historical square (if you come from the train/bus station), so save you some efforts in dragging your luggage along the cobbled street.
2. The room is basic, but very clean.
3. Guests could use the well-equipped kitchen.
4. The host lives upstairs and very friendly.

The man who runs the place was very friendly! My wife and I were a bit confused where to enter at first, but a kind lady at a nearby shop across the street told us where to ring the doorbell. The owner's dogs also came out to greet us, but don't worry, they are super friendly as well, and are only barking because they are happy to see new people! They only take cash, not card, which my wife and I didn't know. However, the man was very understanding and told us where the closest ATM was. He made sure we were settled in first before we headed out to get the cash. The room was very charming, comfortable, and came with a nice modern style bathroom. Spacious kitchen area downstairs, with complimentary tea, microwave, and stove. Plenty of seats and tables for the guests. Also, they have a living room style lounge upstairs with TV and sofa for all the occupants. There wasn't a TV in our room itself, which was fine, since my wife and I could use their WiFi on our laptop. Some people may find the place too old fashion, but for the very cheap price it exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort! We would love to stay here again on future visits! There was nothing we didn't like. If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay and are on a budget, this is a great choice! It's near the town center, so you're not far from food and sight seeing in the charming town of Telc!

Telč is an exceptionally beautiful small historic city with original, very well preserved houses from the Gothic period, reconstructed to the current appearance in the Renaissance time. It is, therefore, rated as UNESCO world heritage. I can recommend its official website https://www.telc.eu/ for all further details. I have been there many times since my first visit to Czechia in 1993, and in particular since I am living in this country permanently since 2014 - it is one of the places I show to almost all friends who visit me. To see most of it, daytime and nighttime, staying at least two half days with a night in between is optimal.

Telč is beautiful.
Telč is beautiful. However we were there in October, when there was nothing going on. The castle was closed for exterior cleaning, covered in scaffolding and many businesses were closed for the season. The staff at the visitors office was very helpful, but there were no events going on. She did give us a map with different walks around the city, so we did that. A stop at Cafe Telč is worth it for the best hot chocolate I have ever had

A beautiful historical town with lovely now restored houses; a lovely castle which offers conducted tours in Czech!! (but with a sheet A-size translation in English).
We found a very pleasant restaurant on the square where we had coffee and a strudel in the afternoon and a nice dinner in the evening (? name). Very attentive staff recommending some of their dishes
It's very easy to get around Telc as it's a compact small town

Telč has a central parking area, very close to the central square. For 24 hours the rate is presently 60 Kc. Telč is the Renaissance gem of the Czech Republic. Lots and lots of gable houses (like in Holland) plus a big castle will astonish everyone. We love the huge fish lakes on both sides of the town, that are now part of the town parks. Lovely in every season with benches everywhere and shadow+coolness in the summertime. Normally this place is very crowded with tourists, but at present the aftermath of covid is still to be traced in the lower number of tourists. But on the other hand this quietude enhances the magic...

A nice small city, its center is in UNESCO and is really beautiful. We were suprised how many restaurants and caffees were around. There are even two breweries. You can also easily escape to the nature if you want, there are many nice places, lakes, forrest, watchtower, churches - a lot to see for a short trip.
The apartment is clean and comfortable with sufficient space. It is much higher than my expectation. Besides, the owner is friendly and helpful. e.g. when my rented car has some safety problem, the owner ask his friend, the mayor of Telc in fact , for assistance and let my car repaired with no cost. Is it wonderful!
I love Telc as well as the country Czech Republic. Unlike Switzerland, the people in Czech are friendly and lovely. I am much appreciated and will visit the country again when the time come.
The host Barbora was right at the door to greet me and give me lots of useful (and honest) information in terms of where to eat/drink. The room I had was at the back of the house, so it was super quiet despite all the festivities happening in the main square the two days I was in Telč. THERE WAS WIFI - and that was a pleasant surprise! Most things in the room were old - but that was the charm and the bit of history I expected.
The hotel has double charged us on the stay.
We booked 2 rooms for 5 guests with with breakfast and prepaid via booking.com, 2 adults and 3 kids, 7 years 5 and 2, per website children under 4 for free. However we were charged double for 2695.04kc extra for the kids over 4 and breakfast. This is unbelievable. We used to book via Expedia, never had a problem like this.
A lovely spot near the centre of Telc, and very well equipped with a small kitchen, spacious lounge and and nice rooms. Michael, the host, is very kind and welcoming - it was bad weather when I was there and he gave me a lift to the supermarket and to the train station. One of the most comfortable places I've stayed while travelling in Czechia. Very good value.
In the middle of Telc, view of the ponds and garden. Excellent facilities fireplace, laundry, dishwasher. Beds comfortable. Loved, loved loved this apartment.
The staff were so accommodating and helpful. Cannot give enough praise to Veronika, the receptionist who went above and beyond for us.
A lovely well equipped apartment. Imecavly clean with an excellent sense of details to make you feel at home. Right by the square in extraordinwry little town Telc. The host, without knowing any english, received us as a true and, servicemondet gentlemen. Loved the place!
The location is just great. Just on the Telc square (please, do not expect a quite place in a middle of season :) The landlord was very helpful and nice to talk. But not only the landlord, but the whole apartment was very cosy and spacy.
The apartment locates right at the historic square, next to Telčský dům. Our room has two windows, one view is the square, one is Telčský dům side. The room is super clean, friendly staff, and a nice breakfast.
We had a lovely spacious corner room. It had all we needed. Although it was the cheapest of its category in Telc, we were perfectly satisfied with the quality. Very pleasant staff.
really nice building and room. right on the main historical square. the back opens up to a garden patio on one of telcs lakes. a beautiful place to have your breakfast!
It was great to stay here in Telç; good location, facilities and a very friendly owner. Can definitely recommend. We came by bicycle, which could be parked inside.
