Nendaz is not the best location to access the 4 Vallees ski area and depends on one run, which was in poor condition. The alternative bus to Siviez is not especially regular and takes a fair bit of time. The new lift back via Plan de Fou is a much better return option. The skiing in the Nendaz sector is best for beginners and more advanced intermediates and not especially suitable for progressive skiers with few long runs.

Nendaz is nicely situated in the center of 4 Vallées ski-area so one can go anywhere and see everything in a week, although we hope to stay once for 2 weeks. Not too big village, but big enough to have everything one may need. And a spectacular view down to Rhone valley and up to the mountains on both sides of the valley.

Nendaz is down to earth family-friendly station with easy access to a great variety of slopes in the 4 vallées. It is a great place for skiing, less so for after-ski or for partying. Prices are more or less at the standard Swiss level, Nendaz is not cheap but not a rip-off either. Nendaz is more relaxed and friendlier than its posh neighbor Verbier, and access from Sion is easy either by car or by bus.

This is relatively small town high in the Alps with breathtaking views from just about anywhere. The people are friendly and helpful and prices at the restaurants are very reasonable for Switzerland. I went for the Alphorn competition and folkloric festival and the parade and it was an experience I will never forget.

Nendaz is a perfect place to stay, because it's not that...
Nendaz is a perfect place to stay, because it's not that expensive as Verbier and too small as Veysonnaz. There is only one drawback thoug, if you are get caught in a bad weather in Nendaz your chances to be cut off from the rest of the skiing areas are very high and you will be limited by Traquoet area, which is only a few runs.
Amazing location (50 meters of ski lifts). amazing facilities for a 3 star hotel (spa, breakfast, ski lockers, bar and restaurant). The staff is so helpful and nice which makes your stay even nicer. The room is spacious and the beds incredible comfortable.
the menu for the afterski is a must since it offers tasty food which makes one want to stay in the terrace. Definitely a value for money for Swiss standards and a place to come back to. The check in took 1 minute and I got my key on my mobile.
Cosy place overall, pleasant location in the heights and away from the large buildings and traffic of the center of Haute-Nendaz, great food at the restaurant, cozy dining room with fantastic panoramic view over the Alps across the Rhone Valley, breakfast simple but good, good coffee and delicious freshly prepared orange juice, attentive staff, small TV room with sofa.
The studio was great! The best thing was it is very close to the ski lift in Nendaz. In the studio there was a lots of facilities for cooking. The place is spacious as for a studio and comfortable. The contact with the owner was great. She helped us to accommodate and was very responsive whenever we had any questions. The price was great.
Our stay was perfect! The chalet is really beautiful and decorated with style. The view is amazing and it is located 15 min walking from Nendaz center. The owners provided all information we needed and compared to a lot of other hotels/chalet in Nendaz this is the best we tried so far. Really recommended!
Its in upper Nendaz, but on edge of town, walkable to the gondola but not convenient with ski gear, but that didn't bother me as I was just taking my kids to meet their instructor and we drove there. Easy car parking right outside. Really nice view of mountains across valley.
Fantastic location next to ski lift and the lift to Nendaz is 2 minutes. Fantastic views from the balcony. Would even go with my family. Nendaz not for beginners and more intermediate and advanced skiing.
The location was nice, right in the middle of Nendaz. There's a great Italian restaurant in the ground floor of the building. And the room itself was clean and recently renovated with a nice coffeemaker.
The property is perfectly located across the street from the skiing lift and close to the shops.
The view from the apartment onto Nendaz and the whole valley is fantastic.
The place is run by a very nice couple. Breakfast has been excellent. It's a great alternative option compared to a classical hotel. I will definitely go again.
