Small, working, real town with a friendly vibe and very accessible to many local attractions.
In March many shops open late and close early (but not the supermarket).
Amazing views of the mountains and The Chief.
Good information centre at the junction with Highway 99 and Cleveland.

Relatively quiet by UK standards with pleasant, not too busy streets in downtown area. Good range of facilities within the city but spread over quite a distance along highway 99. Vehicle required to make the most of available facilities and attractions.

This is good base camp for visiting Whistler for budget conscious visitor to Whistler. The drive to Whistler is very pleasant and scenic. Food at the hotel is good and reasonable. The setting of the hotel is perfect for those who would prefer to rest at night than partying. Room is perfect with a small kitchen to cook simple meals.

Squamish is a great little get away for people in Vancouver and the Fraser valley. Lots of trails to walk, ride a bike. Fun shopping. Great selection of food. Love the Howe Sound Brewery and the Zephyr cafe.

There are a lot of beautiful sites to see both within Squamish or within a short drive of the town. Shannon falls is a gorgeous destination to check out only 10 minutes from where we stayed. Whistler is only about 45 minutes north. Squamish itself had lots of cute restaurants, cafes, and store fronts. It is located near rivers and the Howe Bay. Lots of options for hiking in the area. My partner and I will definitely be back!
Squamish is a destination, not only recognized for being situated along one of Canada's most scenic routes, the Sea to Sky Highway, and in close proximity to Vancouver and Whistler, but for world-class recreational pursuits.
While travelling to Squamish, due to accident in Sky highway, traffic was blocked for 7 hours and we reached at 3:30 am next day instead of 8:30 pm. Due to proper coordination with staff, we found our room key in a secure locker.
Very Special Thanks Squamish Staff
Wasn’t sure about a self check in process but it was super simple, I wish every hotel operated like this! Cool, clean room and a comfy bed. Parking wasn’t bad either, just a short sidewalk stroll. I got there later than intended and didn’t get to hit the bar, it looked fun but could hear music playing late even in the king room which was advertised as the more quiet option. I’m a sensitive sleeper though and I was fine. Cleaning staff I passed on the way out were very friendly!
Our room was a beautiful suite with a separate queen bed and ensuite from the rest of the hotel room. It provided an extra bathroom that was great to have with 5 people in the room! Staff were very friendly. Parking is included! Breakfast had a great selection and great hours. The waterslide was a big hit with the kids, adults found the pool a bit cool but the hot tub made up for it. I'd love to visit in the summer when they open the big doors to the outdoor area!
Howe Sound is a small hotel. It's attached to a brew pub which was lively but no issues with noise or public traffic in the hotel area. There's two small conference rooms and a common sitting area for hotel guests. Rooms have a small daybed window with a great view. Room was clean when we arrived, and the hotel is located on the main drag of downtown Squamish. Water runs nice and hot. Wifi is decent throughout the hotel.
Convenient location and very helpful staff. I LOVE that we were allowed to bring both our dog and our mountain bikes into the room. They have a bike wash station right outside and provide rags for cleaning and drying bikes. Amenities are wonderful and the rooms are very comfortable and spacious.
We were in Squamish for work, but also spent time recreating. This hotel is perfect for both!
Great location on Cleveland Avenue close to everything in Squamish, comfy room, easy access with digital check-in. there were not staff around in the evening when we arrived, but getting into the room was easy, there were staff around in the morning who were very helpful. great base to explore the sights around Squamish or to mountain bike. the place has a charm to it.
This is located on the main street on Squamish, near everything and easy to find. I was surprised by the comfort of the room (the name implied it would be a good place to, well, crash)--comfortable, clean, with original murals on the walls. Scrupulously clean. I expected it to be somewhat loud--they warn you it will be--but it was quiet and nice.
The staff was very friendly, and the location is good if you have a car to move around. It has ample parking and is a quick drive to Squamish Town Center (next door to Tim Hortons). The pool is also good. The water slide guarantees fun for children (and some adults) and a small but good hot tub. But the best part is that it is pet friendly.
The location was perfect for exploring Squamish and beyond with family and friends. The space was generous and had many amenities for a group of 5 staying there. We cooked dinner, did laundry, and watch TV with the kids. They really loved the LED changing lights.
Best value for staying in Squamish to ski at Whistler Great restaurant 'Cork & Craft Tap house. Food rivals any at Whistler or even Vancouver. Selection of local brew is vast. Room is large and clean. Will definitely be my choice to stay when at Whistler.
The Adventure Inn is located walking distance from downtown Squamish and right on the river. It is a super convenient location meaning I was able to walk everywhere while staying there.
Great spot to explore Squamish and it’s surroundings! Staff is very nice and helpful, rooms are big and common areas (especially outdoor in the summer) are nice.
Very clean hotel, friendly staff, excellent location. Restaurant at hotel, The Timberwolf is great for breakfast. I always stay here when I'm in Squamish.
