Love Bicheno. It’s quiet and very beautiful. Lovely walks on the beach or rocks. Not suitable if you want a busy night life but good choice of food options and great cafe options. Very easy to get around. Great for a relax or quiet family holiday.

Unfortunately other travellers had advised to go to the lobster shack for a meal which we did but we found this quite pricey and was just loaded with mainly chips. The view from the viewing point at whalers lookout was spectacular

East coast caravan park was a great location 4 min walk to the beach and close to IGA and other shops. The Libster shack close by with a fabulous view to the ocean while tucking into Lobster Rolls and a wine!

A pretty spot with a nice beach walk. Interesting rocks along the beach gave good colour to the sunrise. The Blow hole is worth a visit, but not spectacular. Easy to walk through the town, and the Bakery buttered our take-away hot cross buns for breakfast. Everyone we met was very friendly.

Very cute town with all that you need. Nice beaches.
Very cute town with all that you need. Nice beaches. Nice cafés and restaurants. A good base for exploring Freycinet National Park, only about a 30 min drive away. Smaller attractions around the area e.g. the blowhole also worth visiting.
Stunning panoramic view of Bicheno township, the sparkling Tasman Sea and blowhole (sea water sprouting high) on the foreshore!
The townhouse is fully equipped with main bedroom/kitchen/living area on first floor). We used the ground floor bedroom while our friends the upstairs bedroom and the consensus was “excellent bed”.
We suggest a periodic “deep clean” program to ensure all visitors continue to enjoy the ambience of this beautiful setting.
Gorgeously decorated and very clean spacious apartment with a high ceiling, giving a feeling of airiness. Nice shower and bathroom. Great location next to Blue Edge Bakery which has the most amazing scallop pies. Close to shops and eateries. Good parking at the back of the property. Really enjoyed the coffee table books on Tasmania that the owners have thoughtfully left for us to read.
Bicheno is a lovely little town close to Coles Bay for taking day cruises. The apartment was nicely styled, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was lovely to have the heater on and the place nice and warm when we arrived. The welcome letter and chocolates were a nice touch. It was great to have a washing machine and clothesline available as we were travelling for a few weeks.
We absolutely loved, loved, loved our stay at Bicheno by the Bay. The cabin was just so cosy with all amenities provided and the view was simply spectacular. Sitting on the deck with views of the Bicheno Blow Holes, 100 metres away from the best lobster rolls (Lobster Shack) we have ever tasted, were an added bonus to our wonderful stay here. We will be back...
This place was absolutely fantastic. Best Accomm we have had on our Tasmanian trip. You name it, it's there. Super clean, warm and comfortable. The owner has thought of absolutely everything! The views were absolutely amazing. We wanted to stay longer, but couldn't. Just book it! Thank you Gill. Fantastic, we will definately promote your accomm.
Best value place we stayed on our Tasmanian road trip. Had everything we needed for a comfy, relaxed stay. Really appreciated the guest guide that explained how to view the penguins. We joined a tour on our first night but on the second felt confident enough to stroll down to the beach to see them ourselves.
The cute cabin had amazing views of sheep and the ocean. The best part was the location to the beach where it’s just a stroll down to see the penguins! We are big animal people and this was by far the highlight of our trip. It is also very close to the main part of Bicheno!
Lovely room and sparkling clean! We found the bed extremely comfortable. Location was fantastic and breakfast delivered from the bakery next door was a treat! Amazing value for the price. Would certainly stay here again next time I am in Bicheno!
We enjoyed the beautiful beach so much, where we stayed at this hotel. Also amazing ocean view!! We were so happy while we stay in this hotel. Should stay there as long as possible, if we could have time!!
Our cabin was very spacious, well set out, clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The holiday park is in a great location, walking distance to everything.
The property was located about 8km north of Bicheno (Tasmania), it was quiet and very relaxing. The cottage was clean and well appointed. The breakfast hamper provided was very good.
Beautiful beachfront location - quiet and peaceful with stunning views. Cozy cottage, well set out with comfy lounges and beds. I would definitely come back and stay longer.
location was good, 200m walk to the beach. Staff was good, restaurant open till 9pm (not common in Bicheno), view from the room was good (almost every room has good view).
Friendly welcome. Great value compared to other accommodation we have stayed in during our Tasmanian holiday. Great kitchen and utensils. Quiet at night. Recommended
Location was perfect I this beautiful little beach town. Very clean, very comfy beds, big rooms, free parking, amazing shampoo products you rarely find I hotels.
