I really enjoyed my stay in Josl, even as a solo traveler who doesn’t speak German. The location is perfect, with a very short walk to the gondola. The rental shop is next door. The ski room is conveniently located on the ground floor, with a shortcut to the gondola. The decoration is modern, room is very clean. Staff and guests are super friendly, and provided all the advices to a guest who didn’t do any homework. The biggest hit is the half board food. Oh my gosh, that’s something I had never imagined to be included in the room rate. The two meals and snacks have $$$$ value if it would be in the U.S.

Half-board consists of a healthy breakfast buffet (with coffee and tea served at the table), an afternoon buffet, and a 4-course dinner with a choice of dishes and a daily salad and cheese buffet. Guests can relax by the open fire in the hotel lounge (the bar is open from 15:00) or party and dance in the Josl-Keller. All rooms are nonsmoking and have free WiFi access. Each room has a flat-screen TV and a balcony or a loggia. A free underground parking space is available for each room. The Innsbruck airport is 60 mi away.
