There's a supermarket just 5 min walk away and a nice park next to the lodge. kitchen isn't always crowded, plenty of space to cook. There's also bus stop nearby if you don't drive and walkable to city centre. Highly recommended!

Newly opened and refurbished in October 2020, Wanderlust NZ is a waterfront hostel located in a historical building in downtown Tauranga. The staff were friendly, helpful & professional.( My sister & I are much older than backpackers & they welcomed us so well ) The room was clean & comfortable. We loved the bay window that opened. The location was great for cafes , buses & scenery. Wanderlust has sincere ethos & kaitiakitanga.
