It was across the street from the Greta River and right beside the old rail line that is now a walk/run/bike trail. Great location between Keswick and Windermere. There’s plenty of parking and the staff member I met was welcoming, friendly and helpful. I only stayed one night on a work trip, the lodge provided a warm and comfortable stopover. I didn’t book breakfast as I’m happy with a cup of tea first thing. Best thing was the big lovely white towels! My room was cheap and only had a velux window so no view unless you stood on the bed.
Great location, just off M6. 30 mins away from Windermere & other tourist locations. No frills, clean, cheap hotel with pets allowed.
A great location for an overnight stop on our journey to Scotland. The breakfast was excellent and the lady who served us was super helpful and didn't hesitate to make sure I could have a gluten free breakfast. The Inn is old and full of character and all staff we encountered were lovely. I would say it's an adequate place to for a cheap and cheerful overnight stay.
Absolutely amazing experience. Lovely place, good location, stunning self contained kitchen. Has outside and inside sitting area. Mixed dormitory beds are comfy. Very tidy place. And most important a lot of support from owners. Very much recommend Hostel 🙌 😊
Pros - Location was beautiful, quite cheap stay with working heating, hot showers and nice bunker beds.
Loved this hostel. Safe cycle storage with tools available for running repairs. Well decorated and finished room and the apartment had a well equipped kitchen. Friendly and helpful staff.
Great value for money. Our room was a really good size for a family of four with a double and bunk bed for our two boys the mattresses were comfortable. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean with a modern feel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location for exploring the North lakes on a budget and only 12 minutes drive away from Keswick.
Great location with an easily-accessible Tesco and Co-op across the road and a short 7 min walk to the picturesque promenade. Spacious room. Very nice safe neighborhood.
Good location for mountain hiking and trip to Scafell Peak. Standard is ok for youth hostel.
great location, relatively cheap, friendly enough staff
