The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The location is perfect for exploring the area (Sigiriya and the Cave Temple) and the accomodations is idyllic, surrounded by nature. Madhu and Sanjee were extremely accommodating and friendly, and took great care of us. I would highly recommend.

The host and his family welcome us in their place and let us feel part of their family. They hanged out with us without never being too intrusive or pushy. The host organized for us transfers and safari for very reasonable price. And the food was just abundant and amazing. We were very sad to leave.

Located within 3.5 km of Sigiriya Rock and 4.5 km of Pidurangala Rock in Sigiriya, Relax Nature Villa offers accommodation with seating area. Lovely host, amazing food, Wi-Fi worked, surrounded by nature. The room is basic (no hot water, no AC), but that didn't matter, as we loved how it felt like we were in the middle of the jungle. Good to know: at night you can't walk around in the nature, as there are wild elephants. So if you go to the restaurants you need to take a tuk tuk back.

Rooms are big, beds are huuuge, you have a small fridge in the room and for breakfast you'll get so much food that it you won't get to finish all. But more than everything, you have to come here cause the owner is the most kind, polite and helpful host you can have. Will fill you with attention and will do everything he can in order for you to have a perfect stay

Featuring garden views, Shan Mango Homestay provides accommodation with pool with a view, an indoor pool and a garden, around 5.5 km from Sigiriya Rock. The hosts at Shan Mango Homestay (Shoolini & her husband) were exceptional hosts! We were arriving very early in the day and when I told them about it, they allowed us to check in early in the morning and did not allow someone else to book the previous night (just so that they can have the rooms ready for us). They were willing to forgo an extra night's rent! While there, we were treated to delicious breakfast & dinner (they made vegetarian dishes for us). They have beautiful mango & passion-fruit trees. They gave us plenty of both to eat and take home with us. They also have a cute, little pool but we couldn't use it because it was raining most of the time we were there in Sigiriya The rooms and bathrooms were clean and we got plenty of hot water. The only small negative was that the pressure in the health-faucet & wash basin were a little low. We told them about it and they said they will look into it Overall, highly recommended!

Offering a garden and quiet street view, The Green Jungle is set in Dambulla, 15 km from Pidurangala Rock and 7.2 km from Dambulla Cave Temple. Everything was perfect! Nuwan and his family were so accommodating. He took us to a festival and shopping when we needed some home comforts. He also organised all our tours and activities when he was unable to take us. On one night, his mother in law cooked us the most delicious meal - highly recommend! The room was large and spacious and we were so well looked after. Very underpriced for the service you receive - DEFINITELY STAY HERE!

Located within 2.7 km of Sigiriya Rock and 5.9 km of Pidurangala Rock in Sigiriya, Lucky Villa Sigiriya features accommodation with seating area. Such a unique place in Sigiriya, accommodation was very comfy and spacious with a good functioning airco. The garden is just the best place to hang out with a direct view at the lion rock and some stunning rice fields. The family is extremely welcoming and friendly and really made us feel at home. We also did a few tours with them including jeep safari and picking us up in Kandy with several stops on the way. We also very much enjoyed that and considered the price very reasonable. Overall a unique experience and can't recommend them enough!
