During our stay at Encanto do Sol in Madeira, Juan and Catia, our wonderful hosts, made our experience truly exceptional. Their warmth and hospitality were evident in every aspect of our stay. Notably, Juan's gesture of allowing us to freely pick fruits and vegetables from their garden, along with the delight of collecting freshly laid eggs from their chickens, added an extra layer of charm to our visit. The house itself, Encanto do Sol, stands out as one of the most beautiful places we've ever had the pleasure of staying in. However, what truly took our breath away was the panoramic view of the entire bay. Waking up to such a breathtaking sight every morning was a privilege, and we often found ourselves savoring aperitifs on the terrace, surrounded by the lush beauty of the garden. Speaking of the garden, it's a magical place in its own right. From the banana grove to the various other plants, it added to the overall enchantment of the property. It's a serene oasis where you can unwind and connect with nature. One of the practical advantages of Encanto do Sol is its convenient location. The charming village and the beautiful beach are just a 10-minute stroll away. This accessibility made our daily explorations effortless, yet we were always excited to return to the comfort of Encanto do Sol at the end of the day. During our stay, we used the house as our base to explore the entire island, and it proved to be an excellent choice. Should we have the opportunity to return to Madeira, there's no doubt in our minds that we would choose Encanto do Sol again. It's a place that captures the essence of Madeira's beauty and hospitality. Lastly, it's worth mentioning that the house is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a pleasant stay. From well-appointed rooms to a fully equipped kitchen, it's a home away from home.

Casa da Cal - by Casas na Ilha está en Câmara de Lobos, a 8 min a pie de Praia de Vigário, y dispone de alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. The concept was great of having a type of house with separate rooms but a common kitchen, pool. It was very quiet around but close to some of the best restaurants in Camara de Lobos.

Agnelo Comfort - Accommodation H V se encuentra en Funchal, a 12 min a pie de Puerto deportivo Marina de Funchal y a 14 km de Cabo Girão, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis. We had an amazing stay at this comfortable apartment! Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!

High up on a mountain side overlooking the valley and ocean towards the east, making you setting the alarm clock early the next morning so you won't miss the sunrise! And the breakfast! Friendly and welcoming staff and eating as much as you can - nothing left to wish for! The host, Dieter, welcomed everyone personally at breakfast and we had a nice chat about this marvelous place.
