Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa, hotel in Sowayma

Located in Sowayma, 8 mi from Bethany Beyond the Jordan, Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa features a fitness center and a private beach area.

The buffet in the morning as great. The pool was wonderful with the service by the pool. Originally we had booked the room on booking.com, however when we got to the hotel we were given the wrong room. The receptionist Nour accomodated us and made our stay exceptionel. My friends/family and I enjoyed the Sky Lounge until 1am. As the night went on Mohammed saw how much of a good time our group was having and kept the music and lounge open for a while longer. Thank you to the bar staff! Thank you for the EXCEPTIONEL CUSTOMER SERVICE! Mr. Mohammed Ajouri diligently ensured the safe transfer of our luggage and personal effects to both our vehicle and accommodation. His attentiveness, coupled with a warm and personable demeanor reminiscent of home, particularly resonated with me as a Canadian guest. Such exemplary service merits commendation.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful hotel, and I must say, it surpassed all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, all the entire staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. Each employee I encountered was helpful and attentive, making me feel right at home. The hotel itself is in an excellent location, conveniently situated to enjoy the city's best attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. It's a fantastic spot for anyone looking to explore the area. This city was a city on the shores of the Dead Sea.

This city was a city on the shores of the Dead Sea. There were no places of entertainment for tourists in the city. Of course, being close to the Dead Sea has its advantages. There are many interesting historical sites in the vicinity of this city, which are definitely worth visiting, but since public transport is not available, be sure to consider the lack or inaccessibility of public transport to tourists. That is why it is important that you also rent a car before booking a hotel here, so that you can visit the sights in the vicinity of the city. We applied to a car rental company and were very satisfied with the professional service, and I would like to share my experience with you. If you would like to rent a car, I leave here the phone number of the manager Zaid, he is an expert in his business and will support you unconditionally for car rental throughout Jordan +962797918921

Dirty/not super clean, sticky surfaces, run down spa.

Dirty/not super clean, sticky surfaces, run down spa. The breakfast was not worth it. I would give it 4 out of 10 for cleanliness, 7 out of 10 for attentive staff, 8 out of 10 for pools and access to Dead Sea. Spa facility 4 out of 10. But sunset over Dead Sea was 10 out of 10. Don’t eat at the poolside Aqua Bar.

The town is quite dirty, there is plenty of rubbish on the streets. Options of restaurants is quite limited, although Beit Sweimeh is so good that ypu won't need anything else. Booking reccommended to not move around too much without the guide, although we felt quite safe even on the late evening walk.

The visit to Salt Beach was an exceptional experience for us. The beach was windy and the Israeli Border could be seen towards the horizon. The salt deposits look amazing and it is quite an experience to see the saltiest water body on Earth!

    Great location.

Great location. Few meters access to the Dead Sead, free mud and shower facilities. There was the end of Ramazani and they have organized plenty of activities for the children ! The children really love it ! Great place for children generally ! The host very polite and professional, kept goodies for us in the fridge. Reasonable price taking into consideration the facilities, services and the location.

Recommended. Ideal for a one or two night stay to visit Dead Sea, car needed to visit sites away from hotel. Hotel has own access to beach on Dead Sea, cordoned off safe bathing area, with mud tub and shower close by. Room was clean and fully functional; comfortable bed; toiletries provided; food in restaurant was of good standard (breakfast portion was huge but staff were happy to box up to take away). Very friendly and helpful staff; like most people we met in Jordan, nothing too much trouble, just ask!

Big and luxurious location, a lot of space, nice common spaces both inside and outside. Good value for the money in an area that has not many options excepting big chains hotels. Staff was very helpful in communicating with us. Tip: avoid the very close shoping mall - very big prices. Is better to have with you all you need as are not many shops/restaurants in the area. We like the view over Death Sea up Jerihon. The kitchen is fully equipped and big.

We were a little bit skeptical to book our stay here because of some reviews regarding the works taking place at the hotel, but I have to say that we found the hotel just perfect! The staff was kind and helpful, the room was super clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good, the beach has a wonderful view on the dead sea. We stayed for one night, on a sunday of february so definitely "out of season" but it was a really nice stay anyway! Thank you!

Everything, the beautiful construction Arabian style, the good food, the location on the dead sea, the ease of access to all facilities thanks to the transportation system inside the vicinity, the pools, and mostly the very nice staff, always smiling, always ready to help, especially Ahmed at the reception and Monzer (I am not sure of the name) who guided us through the hotel.

The resort facilities were amazing! So many options with regards to pools! Theres a breakfast area for adults only if you’d like a more quiet breakfast environment. The staff are certainly the best aspect about the hotel, they go above and beyond to help! Namely the concierge really helped me as i was late to get a taxi to an appointment!

It was great resort wiht two pools - one infinity pool which is very good for photos. There was a resort beach at dead sea. It was more expensive than other accomodation we have been to in Jordan but all hotels aroud dead sea are 2 or 3 times more expensive than this one so the price was overall great.
