Great place for an overnight stay. Friendly front desk staff with good recommendations.
Worth going further afield and finding Standing On the Corner as depicted in the Eagles song. Near the Posada hotel/inn. Good photo op.

Winslow was the only affordable place in Northern Arizona because of the crush of Grand Canyon visitors and the over-pricing of accommodations in the area. As such a site of overflow housing, it's OK. Not a destination. Most of the people staying where we did are construction workers who apparently are pretty hard on the place.

Amtrak is my favorite way to travel and the luxury of getting off the train, and then sleeping at La Posada makes my recovery from a long adventure much more pleasing. Good food, good beer, good staff, and good location. I always try to remain at this location and check in here in my travels, knowing it is safe for me.

The only that I didn't like was there was no continental breakfast, this pillows were old and no support. Rooms were very clean and place waz quiet and a great location. We had to wait beyond check in time because they were behind in the cleaning.

This town has its highlights and famous tourist sights in the heart of the town. The song by the Eagles "Standing in the Corner " is the most popular and photogenic street. A few casual places to eat and reasonably priced and the Trail Museum gives a great historical review of the town's changes through the years. The World Trade Center Pillars Memorial where it displays "United We Stand" is a very sentimental and honored place to see. Watching the trains quietly rolling along the tracks from the back yard of La Posada historical hotel gives you a feeling of yesteryear, nostalgia and serenity all at the same time.

The Restaurant and Brewery across the street from "Standing on the Corner" had the best Reuben sandwich. The list of beers and name of the beers were so representative of locations throughout Arizona. We thought that was awesome. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to have a beer. Next time we come through, we'll be sure to have one.
Quiet, comfortable double queen room in new hotel. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom with walk-in shower. Quiet window unit for heat/ac. Decent breakfast, a little more variety than typical budget hotel. Friendly, efficient staff who provided good restaurant recommendations for dinner. On the east side of town, but easy drive to to tourist area that has plenty of free parking.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. A really quirky hotel, with fascinating decorations and a wealth of history behind it. The staff were very welcoming and we even had our room upgraded on arrival. We really liked the games room and enjoyed playing chess during the evening with a glass of wine.
This is a great location if you want to "stand on the corner in Winslow, Arizona." That's the best I can say about the Econolodge in Winslow, Arizona. Oh, and it's right across the highway from the gas station / convenience store where they had ice, unlike our hotel.
I was able to stay for a few weeks until I started to look for a permanent long-term option. The family that runs this hotel is nice enough. The breakfast is okay, and I felt safe staying there.
Sheets and Towels were clean. Fast wifi. The room itself was fine and spacious. Value was good, it is nicer than some of the other motels in Payson which typically are in the same price range.
Big room with a small table with 2 chairs
easy access to the highway + to downtown Winslow
staff was nice
shower was good (very hot water if you want ;) ) ; hairdryer available
The young guy at the lobby was completely "out of tune". He gave us an occupied room....
Then in the new room, towels had brown dirty marks on it....
