Williamstown and North Adams are different towns and both have a great deal to offer. Easy access between each town, and to multiple hiking trails, as well as superb museums, makes the two towns an extremely attractive visit.

Nice little town. Friendly businesses and residents.
Nice little town. Friendly businesses and residents. Owner recommended Waterstreet Grill after we told her what type of food we were looking for when we arrived. She showed us how to get there. The restaurant staff were friendly and food was great there too.

Clark Art Museum is really one of the Jewels of New England ! Plus the Campus of Williams college is like a movie set. Everywhere you look you see unique buildings that have been there for hundreds of years ! Except they look better October.

Williamstown is a lovely college town in the foothills of the Berkshires. It has an active art scene with The Clark Institute, The Williams College Art Center, and the Willamstown Theater. It is nearby North Adams and the MassMoca Art Center, Pittsfield's Barrington Stage Theater, Tanglewood, Lenox, West Stockbridge Theater, and the Norman Rockwell Museum. The Berkshires is a playground for hiking, kayaking, biking, restaurants, music, dance, and offers a serene setting to relax and rejuvenate.

Lovely New England college town.
Lovely New England college town. Outstanding museum (Clark Art Institute), the reason for our visit. Very limited fine dining options on a Monday night; ate at Pera and highly recommend it! Very limited reasonably priced hotel/motel/B&B options.

We love Williamstown.
We love Williamstown. We have a long history of attending Williams and having family live in town. Our granddaughter now attends Williams so we go down from Burlington, Vermont every chance we get (which was not much during 2020 - Pandemic Year!). It is always a joyful place to be, especially Spring Street and The Tunnel!
We love this place! Excellent Organic Breakfast The location is excellent, right in Williamstown, next to the legendary Williams College campus, within walking distance to shops Next Door restaurants
the Clark Art Institute. An hour’s drive to beautiful Manchester, Vermont. Very reasonably priced, super-clean room. Ours had a coffeemaker, microwave, fridge, New Mattress Quiet area.
We stayed busy time hotel was full , but there’s a big pool and spacious grounds on the property.
Highly recommended!
The family that has run the motel for many years is wonderful -- friendly, helpful and very kind! Rooms are unexpectedly quite large, AC chillingly effective, everything is well-cleaned and simply works. Location simply can't be beat if you're coming for the College -- it is directly across the street. Don't expect a luxury hotel, but if you're OK or better with typical American motel architecture, this is a fantastic value for the money!
Everything was great! The host was welcoming and very responsive to our requests. The location is close to the city center and it is only 20 minutes drive to Jiminy Pick resort via pretty easy and empty road. It was quite safe even during heavy winter storm. The breakfast was good enough to start the day. The room has all you need. I would definitely recommend this place and will choose it again for our next trip to Williamstown.
This Howard Johnson met my expectations for a budget hotel and the staff were really nice and helpful. The breakfast was good and had lots of options. We were going to MASS MoCA on a very busy weekend and this was close by (about 5 miles away, in Williamstown, but on the side closest to North Adams). It was way cheaper than anything in North Adams, so I am a satisfied customer!
This was the cleanest motel I have ever stayed at, better than many high star hotels! It was spotless! The beds were comfortable, breakfast was sufficient, hosts are I credibly nice and accommodating, the location is very convenient. The town is a beautiful college town with many great places to eat. I will definitely be back to this motel on my next ski trip.
We went to see the William College. The hotel is very close the school. Super convenient. People work in the hotel are super nice. Very helpful. They waited for us late at night. I forget my dress in the hotel, and they sent it back to me. That was very nice of them! I would definitely stay there next time I go to Williamstown.
Room was cute, bed comfortable, nice breakfast and breakfast area, 15 minutes from Jiminy Peak, 15 minutes from Williamstown. River behind property , the water running makes for a nice sound. They set up a firepit in the back. I did not use it but it was pretty. Basketball hoop in the back of property.
I am airline Pilot I travel often and stayed in many hotels and motels most are average. However I have to rank this above all .Not only is it very clean ,newly updated and flawless, the owners were very kind and professional. Thanks to the housekeepers that do a fantastic job. Vinni Bha Ji Great
Staff were friendly and smiley, check-out was quick and easy, and being in between North Adams and Williamstown was what I needed for the trip. Walgreens, dining options, and a dispensary across the road was nice too. Didn’t get breakfast but they have free continental breakfast.
Breakfast was comparable with other hotels, simple and quick. Location was convenient for my travels. Room clean and simple but dated. Clean bed and bath, Bed very comfortable Typical noise from busy road. Great hot water but missing hair drier. TV was a few channels.
The location near Williams College was perfect. Although right on the highway the sound of the brook blocked out all other noise. The suite was spacious and comfortable for hanging out and doing work. The private entrance was perfect for taking the dog out for walks.
A very comfortable room, sparkling clean, with all the amenities (microwave, mini-fridge, large desk if you bring some work with you) in a quiet and peaceful setting. Perfect spot for a night or two if you want to visit Williamstown and/or the Clark Art Institute.
* Location is very good, just 30 mins to the Berkshire mountain resort
* There is a bar walking distance from the hotel
* Parking right in front of your suit
* There is a small fridge in the room
* Pet friendly (we stayed with our dog)
Extremely friendly and welcoming. Not an elite hotel. Motor inns are making a comeback and this one is well positioned to compete!!
Clean and comfortable. Just what we needed for the weekend wedding we attended! Did I mention affordable!?
The breakfast had waffles, instant oatmeal, cold cereals, 3 kindsa bagels, fruits and berries,
Tang, milk, and yogurt :)
The counter lady was very nice :)
There is a nice stream to sit near with table and chairs. Nice shower.
Its a basic motel, clean comfortable room, no expectations for additional "luxury", This was my second stay there, it's convenient to the Williamstown Theater Festival and museums, and I expect to go back.
Breakfast was amazing! Fresh organic fruit of al kind- 3 kinds of berries, bananas, cherries, 3 kinds of nuts, oatmeal, yogurt, pastries…
Very clean room and most responsive owners.
Near everything!
Comfortable and well-appointed 2nd floor apartment in Williamstown. Comfy beds. We appreciated
the AC and the coffee maker. A quick drive to center of town and Williams campus.
