While I was in Wichita there were many great places I stopped by to see. The Wichita Art Museum was absolutely fantastic and The Keeper of the Plains Statue on the river was super cool! I also stopped by the Wichita State Baseball field and The Original Pizza Hut Museum with was pretty cool. Finally, if you are looking for an arcade or something fun to go to at night, I would highly recommend The Arcade! It was only $12 for unlimited play and they have tons of 80s and 90s arcade games!

Good location with easy access to shopping and restaurants.
Good location with easy access to shopping and restaurants. We ate at the Salt Grass Steak house. Great food and close to the hotel. Would recommend both. Getting around Wichita was good. Majority of the road work was done on 96 since our last visit.

When we arrived the front door did not stand out and the place looked in disrepair. I asked the front desk lady if there was anyway I could cancel my room and she said not without losing my $169. Yes, they say the rooms are 119 but after all the hidden fees it was $50 more then the advertised price. Also, they charge $100 to your debit card just in case you tear up the room. I have yet to see this money returned to my card. The place was dirty and run down and location is horrible as it's on the opposite side of town where restaurants and entertainment was. Very disappointed as this was a room that should have been maybe $69. However, it was for our anniversary so we wanted a little bit of luxury, but this place didn't have anything but the basics which were run down. The bed sheets didn't even fit the bed so we kept adjusting them. The TV is confusing if you are not a COX customer and use it at your home. We just wanted to scroll through the channels and that took a while to figure out. Also, both remotes needed new batteries so we were going to call the front desk and the room didn't have any phones. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this hotel.

I grew up in Wichita and was back visiting for the holidays. It’s probably not a go to place for vacation unless visiting family or friends but has everything anyone would want for shopping and dining.

Seemed like a lot of homeless for a Midwest town.
Seemed like a lot of homeless for a Midwest town. Larger than expected. Crime seemed to be high. During our one night visit, our rental car was used to visit a nearby restaurant. On the way home, rammed by another car which fled the scene. Taken by ambulance to a filthy downtown hospital for treatment. The hospital seemed to specialize in turning away patients. Ah, no, I won’t be returning to this city.
We had a friendly welcome and the staff was fully accomodating. They warned us that because of some staff shortages that the rooms would only be cleaned upon request. However, the staff still managed to bring us fresh towels everyday without asking. We loved the fresh cookies at reception everyday. One evening, they were out, the receptionist comped us oreos from the snack bar. Breakfast rotated a bit so that we had a bit of variety the few days we were there. Close to downtown Wichita and near many shopping areas for necessities.
Loved the style and ambience - maintained despite refurbishment taking place of the fourth floor. Lounge area is superb with excellent complimentary coffee. Room was very comfortable and well equipped. We could also walk to many city sites of interest. Parking was right alongside and a path dug out in the heavy snow. Excellent breakfast place just across the street - ‘Egg-Cetera’.
Clean and affordable. Pool area was clean. They have a hot tub but it’s not in use. Jumped their prices the next day, for some basketball tournament. Rooms went from $65 a night to $180. On their defense, they weren’t the only Hotel to do that, ALL hotels in Wichita did. No breakfast, due to the Covid pandemic.
After the terrible experience we had with the Super 8 Wyndham Tulsa Airport hotel, the Wichita location was a wonderful surprise and a breath of fresh air. The two places could not have been more opposite. We were very happy with the breakfast, the comfort of the room and its amenities and its location.
The location was great. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean as was the lobby. The pool was great! I also enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna. Breakfast in the morning was a fairly typical hotel breakfast buffet. I was traveling by myself, and I did feel very safe.
The recipients was extra nice greeted us and said if we needed anything to please let her know asked if our room was okay she should be recognized for her great job she does. You don’t see enough employees that are ver nice and caring anymore
1) Location: US-54, and Webb Rd, will get you anywhere or to anything Wichita has to offer.
2)Staff: All whom I came into contact with were nice, engaging, and knowledgeable.
3) Free: The laundry room has multiple Washers/Dryers, all free!
The booking process was fast and simple and we had a room within 30 minutes of making a reservation with the hotel online. The king sized bed in the room was especially comfortable and the view overlooking downtown was lovely as well.
Room was very clean. Air condition unit very quiet, almost no noise. The man at the front desk is very friendly. The hotel is new so everything is working properly. Breakfast is the best I tried since the time of the pandemic start..
The front desk person was very welcoming! Our room layout was spacious and very clean! My wife and I were very impressed how well this hotel was managed, and I'd recommend it to anyone who stays in Wichita.
We liked the fact the room had a dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer. The location to downtown is great. Our washing machine did not work, Victor was a great help locating us to a different room.
The room and the staff were wonderful. The wait staff was nice also. They were kind and gave us a ride to InTrust for the concert we came to see. That was an added bonus.
The hotel was so clean, perfect room, and great value for the size of room. And it was the perfect location for our visit. Would definitely stay again!
