VC is a vintage silver mining town in the Sierra foothills, which has much of the original 19th century architecture still intact. Great vibe, good food and fun tours to check out. We're definitely going to come back some day.

Quain and authentic historic gold & silver mining town.
Quain and authentic historic gold & silver mining town. Covid has limited shops and restaurants as elsewhere but many shops and restaurants are open. Very friendly people. Many people had their canine friends.

I have no complaints. We love Virginia City. Everyone we dealt with made our trip a pleasure. There were several venues with live music. All the locals were friendly and full of recommendations. Food was great.

We love that town, No negatives.
We love that town, No negatives. The hot buttered rums were extra special. Sorry, I can't remember the name but the lady was extra, extra nice. We had a private dinner at the Canvas Cafe and we felt like it was so special. There were 11 of us there to enjoy the Comstock Boys at the Opera House.

It's an amazing town. So historical.
It's an amazing town. So historical. Has many great places to see for the whole family. And don't forget to check out some of their wonderful events like the camel races, outhouse races, ferrari races, grand prix races, etc!!!
I love the location and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful.
The bed was very comfortable! Having suffered a fractured vertebrae, hip injury, and multiple shoulder surgeries, a comfortable bed is very important for me to be able to sleep. Not only was the bed comfortable to lay on, but I slept like a baby, better than I have in months.
A good, clean, comfortable, dog friendly hotel is hard to find. We will most definitely stay here again! ♥️
The hotel is perfect for those looking for a charming and unique stay. It's nothing fancy but the hotel has a western/pioneer feel with a lot of history. There is a little market on site that is open 8am-8pm which is super convenient. The hotel is also walking distance to the main strip of stores, bars, restaurants. The owners live next door and treat you like family!
The staff had personal interest in the hotel and built relationships with the clients. The hotel had no buildings across the street from it, so there was an amazing view down the hillside. Having a market on site was a delightful surprise. It was quite easy to walk into the center of town and to the train station.
Really friendly staff/owner. This is a family owned hotel - David and his wife are really nice hosts and gave us a quick overview of where to go sightseeing within the city.
The room was brightly painted, clean, well designed. The bed was comfortable. There's a microwave and a fridge in the room.
We didn't realize while booking our room we would be in town for their HUGE St. Patrick's Day celebration. We were happy to have a great parking space during the festivities. Hotel is in a great location not too far from Main Street and shopping.
Virginia City was one of the very nice surprise of our trip in the West. Very typical, and a lot of friendly people, and outside of the usual tourist areas. The motel was very lovely, small rooms, but very cute and clean. Super friendly staff.
Perfect location to Virginia City downtown, real nice room, so cozy, clean, and great decor! The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The property was decorated so beautifully for Christmas. We will stay there again!
Very clean. Gentleman at front desk friendly and also gave information on places to eat. Virginia City closes down early so that was helpful. This inn was in perfect location for what I was doing.
Family owned hotel with very nice staff. Great location to visit Virginia city. The room has a dossier with information about must-dos, restaurants, etc that we found very helpful to plan our time.
The decor of the room was nice. It gave the feel of the era Virginia City is known for. The staff was also friendly and helpful. The bathroom was a good size and offered a jacuzzi tub.
Loved the layout of the house. Love how there’s a little fridge upstairs with water and Gatorade for the guests. Location is prime. Right above the main drag of Virginia City.
The Virginia City Inn was a beautiful clean, old world motel. Located on the outskirts of Virginia City, it's at the heart of the Old Silver and Gold mining area of Nevada.
I’ve stayed here before, same room even because I always prefer Virginia City to Reno. Old 1870’s house is fun to snoop around in and the location is great.
