    Hiking the Glacier National Park.

Hiking the Glacier National Park. We hiked every day and even the day we checked out we hike to a beaver dam and watched the beaver's play in their pond. This beaver pond hike was 5 min from the hotel.

Great location for east glacier as not congested like west glacier. Great view of the park for sunset from the balcony. About 45 minutes to Many Glacier. Limited options for food and grocerys are expensive. Bring a cooler to bring in food for meals in the park. Grocery store is marginal and expensive.

St Mary was a great location just outside Glacier National Park. It was very easy to visit to access the east entrance as well as Many Glacier. We also found nice places to eat along the Babb main road.

Glacier National is beautiful, had I known Saint Mary’s was not a resort I would have driven back to Kalispell and spent the night. $280 plus fees and tax to stay in a cabin like I was camping is not what I would call a resort. There was nothing in the resort worth $280 a night. Totally mislead by the web sight search

It has all the items you need. Owner Dr. Steve is great & friendly. The toilet was clogged when we first reached but we could easily find the clog removed right next to it, so it was fixed. Great quality of amenities in the kitchen..Caraway cookware, high quality washer & dryer. Even though first I was not happy by second day I was in love with it. Even saw a small grizzly bear near the fence early morning, which was bittersweet as we were planning a later outing so watched safely from indoors.

(3 night stay) The views were truly breath-taking. We happened to show up on their opening day since closing for the pandemic and given that information the entire resort exceeded our expectations. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The rooms are amazing and clean. We got lucky and switched to the cabin on our last night, I would highly recommend staying in the sun cabin if you are able to. The restaurants food/drink was exceptional.

We had room 317. We had a wonderful view on our balcony. We could see mountains and a creek ran by the hotel in back. The beds were comfortable. There also was a very comfy chair.
