The amount of U-turns one has to do in Medford is wild to me! Odd road layouts but definitely made me and my cohort laugh a lot about all the roundabouts we did. Fast/commercial dining and gas stations were close by on every corner which was easy for a traveler though I prefer some mom and pop stores and independent diners/grills/pubs but those merchants didn't pop up on my food searches until the 3rd page on my serches.

We are relocating to Oregon, and have been researching statistics as far as education, crime, etc. Medford does rank pretty high on the crime index, although during our stay it seemed fine. We have stayed in Medford 4 times and each time we have arrived too late to enjoy the city or see it. However, that is because we always break up the trip into 5-6 hour driving lengths.

Proximity To Ashland, which is a dream land in mid May, all green.
Medford is wonderfully simple with 1 hour required to go through security, check bags and get to the gate. Bravo!
But security kept my 2 and a half inch Swiss Army knife. I thought knives that short were allowed years ago. I have carried it through numerous security gates in the past. Put it in your checked bags.
Since we had no car, we ordered a fantastic, maybe the best pizza from Abby’s who agreed to deliver. It was stacked high with spinach, artichoke hearts, black olives on a Greek pizza. The driver went out of his way to find us, as we had called our hotel the airport Marriott. He went to the wrong Medford Marriott. He brought it to our room. Katie was the nice person on the phone that kept the pizza coming to us. 3 other restaurants named by the hotel did not order .

Best parking system.
Best parking system. Every room had a covered parking spot in front of your door. It was pouring during check-in, but nothing got wet. No noisey tenants above us, all rooms were single level occupancy. Very clean

Please note that Booking should immediately drop this motel...
Please note that Booking should immediately drop this motel from their website. You seriously do not want to be associated with this place in any way. It was beyond BAD--it was so awful that we paid (pre-paid) but did not stay. The manager would not refund our money so we said we'd be back (so she'd not be able to re-rent the room), than we left town. She was a scary lady!!! She actually screamed at me-became a total mental case -said "what don't you understand about a reservation."
A 8.8 AAA sign was on the counter in the office. What a joke!!!
The neighborhood was also scary. Lots of homeless-or at least wondering people with carts, strollers and backpacks filled with crap. I would have felt safer in a Walmart parking lot sleeping in my car.
I specifically told the front desk lady that the shower head blew off the shower. Soaked the bathroom. I asked for a different room and was told that there was availability and I had to wait until 3 to check into the new room. Went to check in and was told that there weren't any rooms. At 930 pm there were rooms and I reserved a room. Same room I didn't want again. And had to give a 50 dollar deposit. Never have had too do it before. So bad room bad experience cost more than it's should have. Booo. Not a fan.
The staff were really friendly. The room was a good size, stocked with what I needed in the kitchenette for cooking and the bed was really comfortable too! Add in the free laundry and the fact that it was rather quiet (despite being next to the airport) and this was a great choice in Medford. There are cheaper options in town but I thought the price was reasonable for the quality and service here.
What a fabulous hotel and pet friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast and sitting area in the lobby. The salt water pool was great, the grandkids enjoyed visiting us for a swim. The room had a separate area with a comfortable sofa and chair and TV. The kitchen was very nice and well stocked with toaster, dishes, cookware and full size refrigerator. We stayed 4 nights and will definitely stay again.
Great place to stay. Newly remodeled room. Can't say about the room we were supposed to be in as we were upgraded to a King mini suite. Very clean, very new. Loved the shower, bed and pillows. Ended up with a stove and pots and a pan. Didn't use them, but the larger size fridge and the extra counter space were a nice bonus. I'd stay here again. Front desk folks very nice.
New and modern hotel in a great location. Makes me want to come back to Medford! Gym was nice and clearly new equipment as well. I saw there was a fire-pit, would have been nice to know if it was for use or not even for those who are night owls. Hardwood floors in the rooms were a nice touch. Bed was super comfy, pillows were soft. Breakfast was included!
I had a lovely stay at the Sovanna Inn. The staff was caring for all my needs.
Fernando was very kind, he made sure my trip was uneventful and all my needs were addressed. I can say I will be returning. 😊 thank you!
I slept so well. No pet allergies! Very Hepa clean Hotel. Breakfast was very well stocked.
Mrs. Patel was wonderful! The self service breakfast room was the best experience at a basic motel in 50 years of my motel travel experiences! I will definitely go back there as I have relatives to visit in Medford, Oregon for life!
very friendly staff, clean rooms, good parking and the best breakfast. the cheese omelettes in the breakfast were super delicious. all this in great price. this was the most inexpensive and best hotel in my whole road trip so far.
Hot yummy breakfast.
Standard rooms. Liked the crater lake mural wall paper on wall. Made me feel like I was truly in Oregon.
Easy to access location, close to all Medford has to offer.
