The location is great and the rooms are always clean
I stayed at the Fairfield for the first time. When I was going to arrive early I called the property and they said my room was all ready and I could come in anytime. That was great because I was going to have surgery and I had no idea when I be able to arrive. This hotel very close to where I was having surgery. There’s restaurants very close. The hotel lobby was clean. They had breakfast. My room was very nice and clean. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip.

I’m never going back to Fresno!
I’m never going back to Fresno! They should level the whole place and start fresh. Especially the tower district. Actually since I’m never going back, let’s move all the homeless people there. The crappy roads won’t be a problem, for people pushing a grocery cart or riding a bike.

Fresno has more to offer than many from outside the area...
Fresno has more to offer than many from outside the area realize. From this location you can access the mountains and Yosemite, get a sense of California’s breadbasket, go shopping and experience many types of restaurants, worthwhile if you are visiting from a less populated areas, buy a car, and any other activities not listed here.

Lots to see and do.
Lots to see and do. The zoo was a great place, but there were a lot of animals missing. There was a Japanese garden that was simply amazing! Lots of shopping and tons of food choices! If you're into cigars there are a number of good lounges to visit. Too many one-way streets for my liking. But using a navigation app really makes it pretty easy to get around.

Fresno is not the vacation destination and the city cares...
Fresno is not the vacation destination and the city cares not for the Hotel business and let’s them operate, when they should be shuttered. There are some newer areas, like where the Air BNB I stayed, that are very nice and close to the Collage stadium. That is why if you are staying in Fresno, for any reason, Serenity is your best bet for a nice stay.
I liked that the staff was friendly and were conscious of how terrible the rooms were. They were not difficult and did the best they could to make us happy. “No early check in rooms available but here is the key to the pool and some discount snacks.” I was cool with that. Room service did listen and helped us figure out and talked to the guests that were smoking inside (our neighbors). Thank you! Oh and unlike the other hotels their pool was actually open.
Nice suite with two bedrooms and two pullout sofas great for the six of us. Staff really tried to do their best. They seemed a bit understaffed, but those that were there were friendly and helpful. I had left an important satchel in the room and when I came back for it two days later it had been protected and everything was in it. Staff adjusted price by 25% to make up for dissatisfaction (see below).
The room was sooo comfortable and tidy. The staff were amazing. We arrived late for check in due to a delayed flight and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of parking. The shower is the best in the USA I’ve been travelling for the month throughout California all the way to New York and the shower here has been the best so far! Nothing I’ve experienced in the United States compares.
They seem to be cutting costs on cleaning services by having us request specifically when we want room service if it's not been the 3rd night yet. Which personally I'm fine with. I usually don't like leaving my stuff in the hotel with the risk things of high value might get taken, so having room service only when I'm ready for it was perfect.
The front desk was welcoming. Our room was dated but very clean. The hotel is located near a fancy Italian Restaurant as well as family and fast food places. The next morning, we recieved a lovely box breakfast. There was coffee available. If we were staying in Fresno again, we would stay at the Piccadilly.
Hotel seems to be recently updated so everything is clean, functional. Wifi works, friendly staff, plenty of parking. Location is decent considering Fresno is not the best place in the world. I ve been to other hotels in the town and this one felt safe. Big plus. Overal good stay, no problem coming back.
Been coming back multiple times to stay and crash overnight whenever visiting Fresno. and, it’s been a great stay. comfortable beds always , clean bathrooms, and clean rooms upon arrival. and plus can’t forget the built in Netflix into the TV which is money, perfect.
The location at the front entry of the hotel was good, clean, and staff courteous, but the environment was sterile, poorly lit and the breakfast selections uninspired. The room had good work space and the availability of connecting rooms for larger groups.
Very sweet and helpful staff. Our bathroom sink did not work and we received a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel is currently getting renovated and we stayed in one of the new rooms! Breakfast was delicious! Perfekt for one night during a roadtrip.
For a quick overnight stay in Fresno, it was just what we needed. The room was spacious and comfortable. We found something to eat literally down the road. The gas station isn't far away either. Overall it's a good place.
They’re remodeling so the place looks amazing and the new rooms look so nice. The staff is great too. They always make sure you have the best stay possible. They offer really good rates as well. Definitely recommend!
Large room with comfortable bed, tea and coffee. Great buffet breakfast included. The bar is great with amazing cocktails and delicious tapas.
Everything you needed on site. 15 minutes to Fresno airport.
it was right off the highway and close to the childrens hospital. this was my first trip alone in a hotel and a guy made me feel uncomfortable and the front desk lady moved me rooms and floors.
The room was OK. The staff is not cooperative and the hotel does not answer to eMail/booking.com messages. So whenever something goes wrong (payment, deposit refund) then you're lost.
Hotel in the garden, a lot of flowers. Terraces near each room. Quiet air conditioning. Comfortable beds, we slept well. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Jackson
My wife and I liked everything about this hotel -- spacious room, friendly staff, excellent restaurant, beautiful atrium with amazing lartge waterfall, not too expensive.
