Detroit is a beautiful place to visit.
Detroit is a beautiful place to visit. Most people are relatively friendly. I had no problems, other than the place that I stayed. They had mice and it was a dead mouse in the sink on the second day. The person managing the property came in while I wasn't there. I couldn't cook my Thanksgiving dinner because there was no dining table. So my family had to eat with our plates in our laps. I was told to give a good review and they would give me back half of my money. They lied! I have text messages and pictures.

Detroit has come a long way from what it used to be. There is a lot to do around the city. With the Q-line and the people mover being a mode of free transportation, it is much easier to get around if you can park just outside of the downtown areaJoAnneUnited States of America - 10Scored 10

Dinner and customer service at D.Prime Steakhouse was fantastic! Also, having valet parking - free of charge - during our stay was very convenient. lastly, we felt very safe due to having a security guard at the entrance to the lobby and elevators that lead to the rooms for overnight guess (plus you had to swipe your room key to enter this section of the lobby and on the elevators.

I think they maxed this out. Within walking distance to downtown, however, you need to make some blocks that are a little bit shady for my European eyes. A good plus is that you can turn OFF the AC! Loved the aesthetic of the hotel and the room was very clean. The candy bar is a must, too! Would definitely stay here again, we had a great time!
