Back to nature. It has a lot of walking trails with awesome views. Love the tea oil Chicken and fried stream shrimps. Best to rent a car or book for private transport to travel around Alisan as the interval for public bus iS at least half an hour.Bee HoonSingapore

We had travelled to Alishan via public transport, so the couple offered to drive us from the minsu into town for dinner, and then back again. They were so welcoming, and were also able to accomodate our dietary restrictions (both vegetarian) for breakfast, which was very delicious! We were only able to stay for 1 night, but there's so much to see at Alishan, so we're definitely looking forward to coming back and staying here again!

The location was gorgeous, the room was clean and comfortable, and the hosts were welcoming and friendly - we so enjoyed our time drinking tea and visiting with them! The delicious homemade breakfast was a wonderful bonus, but our favorite part of our stay was spending time talking with our outgoing and friendly hosts. This was one of our favorite places on our 12 day journey through Taiwan!

Thankfully, owners provide free transport to and from the property from the bus stops. The owners were also very nice and considerate. They even helped arrange transportation up Alishan to watch the sunrise. Overall all was great, however do note that certain things are dependent on the owners' flexibility and time. Have a very good view from the balcony, perfect for morning coffee. Yuling and her husband are very kind, we talked about Taiwan history and I learned a lot from them. There was so much food during meals and snacks / ramen in the room. The owner went out of his way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. When we said we needed to buy tea as gifts, he let us try multiple teas and gave us helpful tips to purchase tea at their family’s store in Alishan.

They gave me a tour of their tea farm and lots of advice about activities in the area. Since public transport isn't very frequent in some parts of Alishan, they also drove me to an area where I was able to go hiking.
