You should visit the crazy (and a bit scary) Wat Tham Ta Pan Temple, which offers both a great cave and a super observation tower. In Somdet Phra Sinagarindra Park right in the city there are beautiful caves and wild monkeys. Phang-nga is also the best starting point for great boat trips to James Bond Island.

We will return to explore more of the area as soon as possible. The scenery is spectacular and the views are stunning. Easy access from several local piers to the many islands in Phanngnga Bay by longtail boat, well worth the trip.

Take advantage of all the natural wonders this area has to offer. You simply must take a tour to James Bond Island through the mangroves. I only had 2 days and there was so much more I could have seen.

We enjoyed our stay in Phang Nga.
We enjoyed our stay in Phang Nga. We went to the local cave and Waterfall which we really enjoyed. At night they have a food market where the food is extremely delicious and affordable as well. If you are going to stay in Phang Nga town we highly recommend the Le Erawan Phangnga hotel. They opened 3 months ago and the facilities are great and have extremely friendly staff. We would recommend 2 to 3 nights stay will be enough to enjoy the sights.if you plan to do a James Bond Island tour we do not recommend M. T travels tour. A full day tour can actually have been done in half a day if the driver of the Longtail boat drove faster so most of the tour was spent sitting on a long tail boat. Phang nga is a very beautiful city. We also recommend to hire a scooter to get around easily and explore the city.
We had a great stay, Juliet the owner make us feel like a real guest not just as a customer, kind, helpful and flexible with us for every things we need, recommend for us many places in phangnga and even many places in Thailand for our trip.
About the bungalow was very clean, have every things necessary for our stay and With a view on the mountain, located in a nature peaceful area in the center of Phang-Nga town just 300m distance to the town main Street.
The lady was amazingly kind, took us to the hotel when we were checking in late and cooked food from the kitchen after close as we were on the bus for a VERY long time, showed us the property and the fire flies and then again took us to the bus station the next day she was very hospitable and the view was gorgeous and her animals were very cute. I recommend this place even for a night it was lovely.
Best view of Phangnga Bay day and night. The family room has super nice panorama view with jacuzzi and a small pool which is worth more than the price! The cafe at the top also perfect for observing sunrise at 5:30 am. Hope to visit again when the weather is better, no storm. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Food was good.
Gorgeous place to stay and perfect for a honeymoon or romantic getaway. The views are incredible from this hotel and the staff’s service is 10/10. They made us feel incredibly special even though we were only there for one night, they upgraded us for free and pulled out all the stops. Highly recommend!
The hosts are very helpful and accommodating here. It was easy to hire a motorcycle for traveling around Phangnga and from this central location (tucked away from the town up a little hill) there is fresh air and lovely mountain views. The room is spacious and comfortable. A homely guest house indeed.
The room was large with view on the mountains the owner was so friendly and helpful. His tour left at 6
In the morning and was worth the extra cost. We were the only ones in the bay and it was magical.
Wonderful very small boutique hotel (only 6 rooms) clean, convenient and very helpful owners. Would definitely visit again if I wanted to see more of Phang Nga. The breakfast interesting local snacks.
The staff where amazing. It was easy to find the hotel. Location was perfect for surrounding activities and the room was clean and beautiful with a private and beautifully designed little garden.
The most genuinely helpful & accommodating staff I’ve ever come across in a hotel! Room was spotlessly clean. Location was perfect, easy walk to good restaurant.
