Tansen is a very attractive, historical town with great views of the valleys below and the Annapurna range from the top of the town. People are friendly and helpful. The palace and temples are good places to visit.

Just like any such cities houses are one below other on the walls of mountain. we had been to Bhairavastan 10 km from tansen, we wanted to visit ranimahal but cud not visit for want of time. the views of nature and mountains from the places is really worth seeingAnantha padmanabhaIndia - 10Scored 10

Tansen is a very friendly traditional mountain town, no tourist pretence here, a working Nepal town, for a true Nepal experience. Lots of winding streets with culture and small scale commerce, with a lovely pine forest above the town with views over central Nepal and the Himalayas.
