Massice construction site at the Timothy beach resort end with pile dirvers and jack hammers making terrible intrusive noise from 8.00 am through to 6.30 sometimes. A huge new marina and hotel complex is being built and the whole mountain side is in the process of being demolished. Only stay there if you are hard of hearing, the mountain drilling nose was unbearable so we moved to Sugar Bay 5 minutes walk away.

We had a very awful experience in St Kitts Island We went to the most famous volcano in the Caribbean, Mount Liamuiga. On the trail on our way back from the summit we had an attempted robbery with a pointing knife about 12 inches blade. He asked me for my bag and my husband manage to get the knife out of the criminal’s hand after he and I jumped on top of the man and took the knife out of his hand. Was very stressful. We are two well trained people in the mountains and with knives and guns as well. We were very lucky that today we can tell the story. This situation have more details , but this is enough to know for to be extremely careful in St Kitts Island remote areas. We reported at the near Police station at Sandy Point and returned the weapon to them.

Love the proximity of the roar of the Atlantic and the soothing Caribbean Sea, the lively beach scene including a fantastic favourite Mr. X ‘s beach bar / restaurant. There is a rams grocery convenient. I love the smell of the air and sun on my face

Frigate Bay was okay but the Marriott was a joke. They tried to cheat us whenever they could. They use bait and switch when you book a room. Be VERY aware that they will screw you over and try to give you a room that is less than you paid for.

Very friendly people in St.Kitts always up for a party. Sugar Bay is just ideal as it’s half way between the Marriott & Timothy beach resort. Just 10 mins walk to the beach. & other bars. Very safe & lively.

The place was clean and everyone was very very friendly and informative about the island one of my friend fall on the front steps they call the ambulance and they arrive very fast she was taken to the J N France General Hospital where she receive good treatment also the the ambulance driver Ms Lynette was awesome. Keep up the great job that you all are doing and see you guys next time

There are two pool area with comfortable seating chairs around the pool area as well as sun beds. There are comfortable cushion seating around the bar and eating area. We had all the facilities in our apartment. Our bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay in our apartment. We cooked breakfast every morning. They even provide shopping trollies from the hotel to walk across to the local shops across the way.

As a hotel, the management has to see to it that there is water after 9 pm which was not the case. After being intimate, my partner and I need a fresh shower, which is impossible. There is no beach to relax. Nothing to accommodate the guest after a hard day's work.

He picked us up from the airport, even when it was late and we had a 7-hour delay. He gave us the best recommendations for what to see on the island and rented his car at the last minute when our rental company canceled on us. The apartment is much nicer and bigger than the pictures. It has everything you need, and it's in a nice, residential area close to Frigate Bay.AleksandraPoland
