The enterior is super cute, and the location is the best!
Szeged is a very charming city. I enjoy its atmosphere very much. There is a limited amount of activities to be done during the evenings, but I actually went there for work, so I might not be informed enough.
I enjoyed the open air market on Saturdays at Mars Tér; it's a very good place to buy fresh and local products, vegetables and fruits. Otherwise I liked simply strolling around the city.

If you want a weekend break in a provincial city in Central Europe, let Szeged be your destination. This is not just another town in the Land of the Magyars - and I have been to about 15 of them. The Art Nouveau (or Succession) architecture is fabulous. Go to the Mora Museum. Check out the Dom and the Synagogue. All glory to the City of Sunshine.

Szeged is a wonderful city which has a rich history, a beautiful culture and many things to offer!
It has great landmarks (like Votive Church, New Synagogue, Fekete Ház, Botanical Garden, Víztorony, Dugonics Tér, etc).
Students from many countries choose this place because it's vibrant.
Speaking of health tourism, many individuals come every year to the thermal baths and to the spa.

Szeged is maybe a bit under estimated!
Szeged is maybe a bit under estimated! It is a nice city, lot's of art deco houses. Nive boulevards and nice squares, good coffee shops.
Also a better Christmas market than in Budapest.
Outstanding thermal "Anna bathe" and fun at the aqua park, others side of the river.
Worth to make the trip to this city. I go there every time that I'm in Hungary.

Szeged is a beautiful university town in the South of Hungary. Its selection of buildings from the end of 1800s and beginning of 1900s is remarkable. There are so many to appreciate. The cathedral and its square are well worth a visit. It is a lively place due to the university students' presence and so feels a youthful place to visit. As it is compact it is easy to get around. But as in many places in Europe there are an abundance of canines. Watching where you walk is always wise.
Nice place with friendly staff, ready to assist and to provide information about everything you want. Rooms are clean, furniture is new and well maintained. The building itself is charming - there are terraces on guests' disposal, there are wide court in front of the hotel, equipped with tables and chairs. And, there is a restaurant with exotic cuisine at the ground floor. The food they cook is delicious and I recommend it as well.
Very clean, nicely furnished, spacious rooms with comfortable beds and a small kitchenette perfect for making a coffee or tea and having dinner or breakfast- this if you don’t want to take your breakfast in the small hotel cafe. Parking is available either on street nearby the hotel or at the hotel for a small fee. Perfect place to stay if you go on a fee days city break or just pass through Szeged. Highly recommended
Classic decor and atmosphere in the heart of the historic centre of Szeged.. The location was lovely, and although the hotel doesn't have it's own restaurant, there are many to choose from in the street outside. I found the Hungarians extremely friendly and helpful - the mysteries of the hi-tech parking metres takes a little explaining - and my room was extremely comfortable and clean.
I've been travelling to and from Szeged multiple times a year for the past 8 years or so. This is probably the 6th time I've stayed at The Dom. It is definately my hotel of choice but hasn't always been available when booking past trips. This was the first time that I took my son to Szeged (he's 9 now) and he absolutely loved his stay and this hotel was a large part of this.
Everything, perfectly situated in the city.
Easy to get to the hotel from the train station using the tram, a wide variety of restaurants in the vicinity.
Staff were super friendly, check in and out was smooth.
No hassles at all.
Will definitely make this my hotel of choice when visiting Szeged again.
One of the best hotel beds I have ever slept in; they consider beds so important they even have a pillow menu. Good coffee all day and night. Very nice, helpful staff (apart from the machine noise issue). Stylish, thematic decorations everywhere, including the rooms. Useful garage. Great location.
The hotel location is great, easy to access to the main street or even for the river. The hotel room was clean. The staff was helpful. Unfortunately, we had a second day a loud neighbour and his tv. No one can make him quiet during the night. We enjoy visiting Szeged.
We enjoyed the SPA facilities of the hotel, but also the easy acces to the Aquapark of Szeged which has lot of pools but the construction is quite old and not modernized.
The room was ok, quite large which is a plus. Breakfast and dinner with great variety of meals
Everything was great. Location is great. Room was very clean and there was everything we needed. Furniture and entire hotel is new. The whole concept for me was just amazing. Lets put it this way every time I come to Szeged i will stay in Noir hotel.
Best place to stay in Szeged so far. Clean, quiet, warm, cozy and safe. A real home away from home with everything you need. Spacious room with modern design, interior parking and easy flexible check-in. It was a pleasure to stay here.
Great, spotless clean apartment in a very central location - walking distance to all main sites in Szeged. The owner Dori was very friendly and responsive. We recommend her lovely flat to all! :)
The staff were very accommodating and waited for our arrival after we were stuck at the Serbia - Hungary border for 6 hours. Private parking. The room was clean.
Very nice hotel located on Tisa shore and close to the city center, clean room, helpful staff
The parking was a bit small but we managed to find a parking place
When we go to Szeged, Science hotel is always our choice to stay, we love it. Room is clean and cozy and the location is perfect, city center is 2 min away :)
