We were in Muonio in the summer time.
We were in Muonio in the summer time. It was difficult to rent a boat for fishing. There are little tourism activities in the summer. After 5 nights with fishing, riding a bike and a small hiking, we had explored the area. I think, Muonio is much more interesting to visit in winter time.

So for the price I payed I think I got a good service. I only needed the room for one night and for a couple of hours, so, it was good. I stayed again on my way back. Remember it is still a gas station and btw I saw the northern lights there after chasing them for almost a month, funny but true story.RomeroColombia

And the wood heated sauna (to be booked) with a icehole in the lake is just an amazing experience. Lake just beside (skiing, walking to find the right spot for nothern light viewing).
