This was the best family lodge we have ever stayed at. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was great, we felt very welcome, the staff was extremely kind. I was worried about being outside of town, and “stuck” eating the food there - but I wish I could have their meals each night after we left the lodge. Plus, the drinks (coffee drinks $4, cocktails and smoothies $6-$7) were so affordable. We missed this place after we left to Samara where everything was 30% more - even the little sloth stuffed animal we bought in the gift shop. We enjoyed all of the onsite tours - farm tour was a highlight. I would come back to try the herbal workshop. And heard the chocolate tour was great.

Everything was great, family business running their Lodge with so much love. They were very welcoming and flexible to accommodate us. Our stay was fabulous, we saw sloths in the forest right next to our room and heard the forest night life, fabulous experience! We had everything we needed for our night there, highly recommended! The location was amazing. Very comfortable for our small family. The property was beautiful and the hosts were so nice and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious.
Perfect location If you like outdoors . The sound of river and night bugs and animals definitely added an excellent plus for us. Restaurant is great and they make whatever you order. The owner goes out of his way to make your stay pleasant. You can either spend the entire day there or take a tour and come back to this little hidden heaven.
We ate by the pool while watching the lighting show offered by Mother Nature! I will definitely go back.
