Beautiful grounds, perfect size apartment with a nice sized private patio. Both bedrooms had an en suite our host had made homemade muffins and had fresh eggs from their chickens, stocked the refrigerator and left us a very nice bottle of wine. Mairead and Tony were exceptional hosts, so friendly, they picked us up at bus, drove us to several areas we were touring, as we didn’t have a car. I look forward to going back and renting from them again especially when I retire, the perfect place to stay. You can walk to Bagenalstown, which has several pubs, shopping and a nice path for walking.

With just a short stroll, you can hang out at the excellent Lawlor's Bar or grab some coffee and breakfast at The Green Lemon. However, don't feel like you will need to leave the property to enjoy your stay! The apartment is equipped with a kitchen and laundry facilities, and the garden and orchard are varied and well-maintained, with areas for activity and leisure. Furthermore, Martina and Mervyn were lovely and more than accommodating, even surprising us with fresh pastries and groceries! If you need a break from the busy cities of Ireland, or simply want to experience the full charm of small town life in Ireland, look no further than Mews! P.S.: We traveled in a party of three, and the space (one bedroom and one living space with kitchen) was plenty big. The pull-out bed in the sofa was comfortable, if a little short for a 5'11" individual.

The cabin is located in a peaceful countryside. There are artificial lakes for fishing. The cabin is completely made of wood and makes it a special feeling. We got to see a fox in front of the cabin in the morning, it was something new and interesting for us.

It was Mt like its advertised it doesn't have balcony the rooms are small hard find had to ring owner several times before to find it its not part of hotel I should of stayed in hotel I wouldn't recommend it wifi is OK but cooking facilities poor 2 rings and microwave basic 40 min walk from carlow Town
